After the release of the studio album “Doctor Faith“, Christopher Cross started one of his biggest tours in Europe in the last 15 years. “A Night In Paris” is the first live 2CD/DVD by Christopher Cross which was filmed at the notorious Theatre Le Trianon in Paris, France in April 2012. It will be released on March 8th, 2013 via earMUSIC.
While the previous tours showed a more acoustic (at times even jazzy) approach, Cross decided that for the ‘Doctor Faith’ tour he would go back to his musical roots and expanded his band to a more classical “rock line-up“: Andy Suzuki (keyboards, sax), Dave Beyer (drums), Chazz Frichtel (bass, vocals), Kiki Ebsen (keyboards, vocals), Richie Gajate Garcia (percussion) and famous sound engineer Ross Pallone (Michael Jackson, Alice Cooper, Elton John,...).
Filmed by 9 cameras in HD, the show captures Christopher Cross playing all his classic singles and new material from the album “Doctor Faith“.
The 90 minutes show is impeccable, the new material is fused beautifully with all the songs the audience is expecting. The wonderful theatre gives the concert a magical atmosphere. Songs like ‘Sailing’, ‘Ride Like The Wind’ and ‘Arthur’s Theme’, sound simply perfect placed beside the most recent songs like ‘Leave It To Me’ and ‘November’.

Cross recorded and toured regularly, while his back-catalogue and his anthologies never stopped being best sellers, and his songs always remained among the most played on the radio worldwide.
In 2011, Christopher Cross released the critically acclaimed record “Doctor Faith” – his first album with new material in 12 years. An incredibly powerful album, that kept Cross and his band busy with a long world tour where old classics were mixed perfectly with new compositions.

Recorded at film producer George Lucas' infamous studios at Skywalker Ranch, 'BINGO!' is The Steve Miller Band's first studio album in 17 years. 'BINGO!' is the album Steve Miller has waited his entire life to make. Reaching back to his apprenticeship as a young man on the Chicago blues scene, Miller and co-producer Andy Johns brought classic rhythm and blues numbers that have been at the foundation of his music throughout his career into the 21st century.
A true return to Miller's roots, 'BINGO!' echoes his early years in the Chicago music scene and features carefully chosen and crafted blues tracks performed in distinctive Steve Miller Band fashion. 'BINGO!' was co-produced by Andy Johns (Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, The Rolling Stones, Van Halen), with artwork designed by the legendary Storm Thorgerson. These recordings feature longtime Steve Miller Band member Norton Buffalo, who sadly passed away in 2009.

Bill Champlin will do some shows in Norway joining the band TOBB (The Original Bullshit Band).
The band is born in Oslo and its members are: Knut Anders Sørum (vocals), Javed Kurd (guitar, vocals), Lars Endrerud (bass), Erik Smith (drums), Trond Nagell-Dahl (keyboards, vocals), Steinar Borvik (saxophone), Torbjørn Sunde (trombone, vocals) and Rune Haglund (trumpet, vocal).
The 'Limahl'-haired aspiring young musicians, wearing sweaters of angora and embarrassing trousers, passionately developing good grooves and creative interplay around soul, funk and r&b, weren't particularly concerned about their nameless status either. Moreover, they had come to realize that every cool band name they could think of already had been snatched up by other musicians. Name suggestions like 'The Trembling Coconuts' was rejected. 'I Promise It's Piña Colada' was also rejected. That's the simple reason why the band ended up with such a flattering name: TOBB :-)
Anyway, don't miss them LIVE if you like "groovin'"!!!
