John Farnham new record deal

Via Melodic Rock: "Aussie John Farnham may have stopped full scale touring, but he has just signed a new label deal for 5 studio albums over 10 years (...)."
In fact, John has re-signed with BMG in a deal that commits him to 5 albums over the next 10 years. BMG first signed John in 1986, the year in which he released his historic album "Whispering Jack". With sales in excess of 1.5 million, the album remains the biggest-selling Australian album of all time. John's all-time record sales with BMG are now well in excess of six million units.
The contract was very recently signed in Melbourne by John Farnham, senior BMG staffers (including his producer of more than 15 years, Ross Fraser) and John's long-time manager Glenn Wheatley.
