Ashlee Williss gives time and money to raise funds for Cancer Research


Singer-songwriter Ashlee Williss four-year career has been a successful and steady climb. Her single "Bad Weather," debuted on the Teen Top 20 Chart. Co-produced by Ashlee Williss, along with tracks done with Tim Coons (Backstreet Boys, Take 5, 3rd Faze) and Epic Recording artist Naomi Striemer, the demo is a collection of songs that have a personal meaning to Ashlee. The direction is something that could impact at Hot AC, CHR, AAA and with the right promotion cross over to Country radio.

With a naturally strong voice and a sound that hypnotizes, it's only a matter of time before she becomes a household name. But that's not exactly what Ashlee wants. "I just love singing. From the recording process to the live shows, I enjoy every part of what I do." Those who work with Ashlee know her desire to grow as a musician, as a singer and as a song writer is unwavering. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, Ashlee's family moved to Jacksonville when she was three years old. The voices of LeAnn Rimes, Shania Twain and others fueled her aspirations. Ashlee Williss joins forces with media giant Clear Channel and the National Breast Cancer Foundation to raise funds, awareness and to help fight breast cancer. Donating the up-and-coming hit song, "Bad Weather," fans and patrons can download Ashlee's song along with the songs of other artists for only $1.00 each there. 100% of the proceeds raised go to the National Breast Cancer Foundation to support the fight against breast cancer.

Ashlee Williss is an 18-year-old, singer/songwriter from Jacksonville Florida influenced by the likes of Jewel, Sheryl Crow & Shania Twain, and possessing elements of Sarah McLachlan, etc. Ashlee recently completed co-writing "I Am Me" with Tina Shafer (Celine Dion, Clay Aiken, Donna Summer) and Kevin Bents (Henry Lee Summer, Spin Doctors, Boz Scaggs). Ashlee Willis has performed at Nashville New Music Conference in 2002 & 2003, the Nashville Songwriters Festival 2003, New York Songwriters' Circle, "Chick Singer Night" in NYC, as well as various venues across Florida.
