Peter Cetera "You Just Gotta Love Christmas" new album will be out on Octber 19th in The States. ViaStar Records has signed an Exclusive Master License Agreement with pop music icon and legendary singer/songwriter Peter Cetera.

Peter Cetera joins the ViaStar roster with the release of his sixth solo project, "You Just Gotta Love Christmas," featuring three new original songs and duets with country music singer Alison Krauss and daughter Claire Cetera. "You Just Gotta Love Christmas" hits stores on October 19th.

Peter Cetera's successful career as a solo artist is undeniable. Since leaving the band Chicago, where he penned and performed such hits as "If You Leave Me Now," "Hard to Say I'm Sorry" and "You're the Inspiration," Cetera has had four "#1 hit" songs, a Grammy Award and an Academy Award nomination.

Peter Cetera hit the top of the music charts in 1986 with "The Glory of Love," the first single from his album "Solitude/Solitaire," and the theme song to the film "The Karate Kid Part II." Cetera scored another number one hit with, "The Next Time I Fall," a duet with Amy Grant, and a year later he produced Agnetha Faltskog's (formerly of ABBA) "I Stand Alone," followed up with another duet, "After All," with Cher.

"You Just Gotta Love Christmas" features three new original songs and nine holiday classics that highlight Cetera's unmistakable voice and signature style. The first single, (the title track) "You Just Gotta Love Christmas," is currently being solicited to radio and broadcast media. The original songs and Peter Cetera's interpretations of Christmas standards are true to form from one of the most recognizable voices in music history. ViaStar and Peter Cetera are planning several Christmas concerts and working closely on publicity and promotional campaigns.
