'Songs For Lovers' is a collection of the greatest love songs by the celebrated blue eyed soul singer, Bobby Caldwell. Highlights include the number one radio hit "What You Won't Do For Love," the classic tango "Where Is Love," the smooth and smoky balladry of "Stuck On You" and the legendary "Next Time (I Fall)" also known as a smash duet between Peter Cetera & Amy Grant.

Kere Buchanan is best known as a drummer’s drummer having played with a who’s who of great Australian artists including Tina Arena and Marcia Hines. Kere is also widely acknowledged as the leader of groups such as The Bodacious Cowboys and Kerosene. Perhaps less well known is the fact that Kere is also an enormously talented producer & arranger, writer and pianist. 



His new album "Starting Over" is aptly named as he introduces his audience to a dynamic new phase of his career. His collaboration with the towering talents of people like Steve Clisby, Geoff Robertson, Glenn Bidmead, Michelle Martinez and Kimi, provides a sublime edge to the R&B, Jazz and Blues genre that such a vocal line-up would suggest. 

The musicians on "Starting Over" have been meticulously hand picked by Buchanan from his endless industry wide associations, and the result, is a sound that is instrumentally "exact" to accompany the lyrical journey from start to finish right across the album highlighting the compositions of Buchanan, Clisby and Bidmead.

Jimi Jamison teamed up with his former Survivor bandmate Jim Peterik in 2007 to record a new solo album. That album was released via Frontiers Records in 2008 to high critical acclaim and fan praise. The guys spent a year writing material for Crossroads Moment and even with 15 tracks included, there were several more that didn't make the cut. Jimi Jamison appears with the very generous approval of Frontiers Records. Jimi and Jim both loved the idea I had of compiling the various tracks that didn't make the original album for a stand alone release. Adding to the value of this release is some additional alternative takes and recording demos to round out a stunning 11 track release, showcasing the talent and chemistry of these much loved duo. The complete picture of Crossroads Moment is now available with the release of Extra Moments on July 23.

Frontiers Records will release on August 27 in Europe and September 14 in the USA the new album from First Signal, a new exciting Melodic Rock studio project presenting the alliance between two well known faces in the scene: Canadian singer Harry Hess (ex-Harem Scarem) and producer/bassist Dennis Ward (Pink Cream 69, Khymera etc.). The concept behind this recording is to bring back the classic Harem Scarem sound which after the band decision to split is very much missed by many fans. Records such as “Mood Swings” and “Weight of the World” are regarded as true masterpiece albums and they were the inspiration behind the First Signal songs which of course are also open to some new twists and interpretations. 

Harem Scarem have displayed throughout their 12 official studio albums a vast array of styles, from AOR, to Arena Hard Rock and Power Pop in the “Rubber” years. Still the fans have always asked the band to go back to a guitar riffs oriented sound which melted the influences from the Melodic Metal of the 80's with more contemporary sounds. A reat team of songwriters, including brothers Tom and James Martin (Khymera, Sunstorm, House of Lords), Erik Martensson (W.E.T., Eclipse), Ronny Milianowicz (Saint Deamon), Robert Sall (W.E.T., Work of Art) and Mark Baker (Signal, House of Lords) among others, had the task to recreate that magic sound, which is now back in all its glory thanks to a monster vocal performance from Harry and a crisp production and arrangement work from Dennis Ward. 

Other musicians on the album include Chris Schmidt on drums, Michael Klein on guitars and Eric Ragno on keyboards and the necessary background vocals contribution from the other ex-Harem Scarem member Darren Smith.

“Dream the Dream” is Stan Bush 11th studio album and is destined to set in stone the singer/songwriter artistic abilities and taste for writing and performing nothing but classy music. With powerful melodies that have made Stan a popular singer/performers in the melodic rock community, “Dream The Dream” is another gem that will please his old and newer fans. “We’ve been working on the new album for a year and a half, and I’m very happy with it” says Bush, “The last album, “In This Life” got great reviews and though we had to work really hard, I think we’ve got ourselves another amazing album. Some of the songs have a ‘go for it’ message, and some are about love, life and a search for meaning”.

Producer and guitarist Holger Fath again helped Stan shape his creativity even though songwriters on the album include, apart from Stan and Holger, Bobby Barth (Axe, Blackfoot), Curt Cuomo (KISS, Eddie Money), Ed Tree and Lenny Macaluso.

Apart from writing and recording albums, tracks from Stan’s previous albums have appeared in several major films. He won an Emmy Award in 1997 for Best Original Song. As a vocalist, Stan has sung on albums by established artists such as Alice Cooper and Jefferson Starship and has worked with many top producers (Ron Nevison, Giorgio Moroder, Andy Johns, Mick Jones, Desmond Child, Peter Frampton, Paul Stanley, Richie Zito). He has co-written with many of top songwriters like Jonathan Cain (Journey), Jim Vallance (Bryan Adams; Aerosmith), and Paul Stanley of KISS. Stan’s songs have received covers from many notable bands. "Love Don't Lie" was covered by House of Lords, and "Slave To Love" was recorded by Quiet Riot.

Italian guitarist, singer and composer Stefano Frollano has close artistic ties with the legendary music of California, from which he constantly draws inspiration. He began studying classical guitar at the age of 13, and his discovery of such milestone records as C.S.N.&Y’s 'Déjà Vu' / '4 Way Street' and Neil Young’s 'Harvest' gradually led him to focus on folk-rock and blues. 


His latest CD 'Sense Of You', recorded between Italy and the U.S., features contributions by top musicians including his time-honoured friends Jeff Pevar and James Raymond, as well as drummer Francesco Isola, who has a long working relationship with other Italian and foreign artists; bass-player Marco Vannozzi from Stradaperta, Antonello Venditti’s legendary band; talented trumpet-player, composer and arranger Franco Piana; versatile harpist Giuliana De Donno; percussionist Luca Scorziello, a long-standing fellow-musician with Alex Britti and other Italian singers and, just like on his first album, some very special female vocalists who both accompany and perform duets with Stefano.

One day en route to work, Rebecca Turner was trudging up some subway steps when an impatient lady behind me grumbled something about “all the slowpokes.” She remembered something a friend of a friend once said, along the lines of: “It’s the slowpokes who need the lovin,’” and that turned into the song “Comfort You Up”. SLOWPOKES as the new album title fits in a bunch of ways: although she’s been singing and writing songs since I was a kid, it took her until her early 30s to actually stand up in front of people with a guitar; and making her first album, LAND OF MY BABY, took a couple of years. Certain things can be pretty sweet when you let them bloom to their full potential. 

SLOWPOKES features the talents of many folks, including: Rod Hohl (Mary Lee's Corvette, Yarn), Andy Hess (Gov't Mule, The Black Crowes, Tina Turner), Steve Goulding (Garland Jeffreys, The Mekons, Elvis Costello), Rob Clores (Colin Hay), Rob Jost (Imogen Heap), Boo Reiners (Demolition String Band, Klezmatics), and Scott Anthony (Daniel Lanois, Lloyd Cole). Robert Scheffler, an amazing NYC singer-songwriter helped her push some of her unfinished ideas into real songs, and they ended up writing (and singing) a beautiful duet. Slowpokes was produced by Scott Anthony, Rod Hohl, and Rebecca Turner, and was mastered by Grammy-winning engineer Gene Paul (son of Les Paul).

Bandleader Adrienne Hindmarsh is a vocalist with a unique voice, often compared to the female singers from the 1950's big band swing era. She is also a dynamic Hammond organist with immense skill in the style of jazz organ. Playing a small amount of organ as a child Adrienne taught herself to play the Hammond by copying the recordings of Jimmy Smith, Joey DeFrancesco, Groove Holmes and Jack McDuff.  Due to the lack of jazz organists in her native New Zealand Adrienne relocated to the USA in June 2008 to pursue her career in music. Her repertoire includes jazz standards, bossanovas and  popular tunes from artists such as Norah Jones and Antonio Carlos Jobim.  

Her dedication to the Hammond B3 organ, skill at footpedal bass and use of dynamic chords makes sure the classic sound of the Hammond B3 stays alive...

Right before Gary Wright started the last Ringo All Starr tour in 2008, he began to write for what would be his next studio album. he wanted it to be in the same direction that my album "The Dream Weaver" was; not too over-produced. So he recorded a few tracks with his engineer Rob Calhoun, who was very helpful in running the technology part of the process and then he went on tour with Ringo. 

That September after the tour was over he went to Sardinia, Italy where he wrote more songs (on acoustic guitar) and returned home to finish writing and recording the album over the next 18 months. Gary was personally very pleased with the results in both the songwriting and recording parts of the process. Ringo, Joe, Skunk and Will's performances added a great touch to the album as did Valerie and Lisa on the backing vocals. So now he give it up to you and hope you will be uplifted by what you hear. he named the album Connected because he believe we are all connected with one another and that our thoughts and actions have a great influence on our planet collectively.
