Warren Haynes "Ashes & Dust"

WARREN

Ashes and Dust is a masterful work of art and a particularly important statement for the Grammy Award winning artist Warren Haynes. The songs are immediately and clearly different from his usual style - encompassing beautiful acoustic arrangements, a rootsy/Americana soundscape and honeyed vocals that cut straight through to the soul. Knowing that he wanted to pursue a more folk-based approach on this project, he brought in the New Jersey-based Americana band Railroad Earth as collaborators. This 2-CD deluxe edition package features 5 bonus tracks.

John Kilzer "Hide Away"

KILZER

Hide Away finds John Kilzer turning in a new set of songs in that rich, cross-genre tradition, with the help of Memphis's established musical community and members of the up-and-coming generation as well.

Alvin Youngblood Hart, Luther Dickinson, Steve Selvidge, Bobby Manuel, Greg Morrow and Kirk Whalum, among others, all show up to help Kilzer bring it home. It's a testimony to John Kilzer's respected standing in the Memphis music community, and it's the reason Hide Away marks a return to top form for a songwriter who knows, personally and professionally, how music can move, can shake, can heal us.

TOTO in Concert in Paris on May 28... don't miss that event!!!!

Toto

Veryshow is pleased to present this special event, TOTO in concert in Paris!! Why is it special you could ask? Well, if you grew up listening to TOTO's music as I did, you know they have a new record titled "XIV" which is just amazing. It's not just a new record, these incredible musicians put their best in this release. Maybe you prefer their first record or the last one, the vocals of Bobby Kimball, Joseph Williams, Fergie Frederiksen, David Paich, Jean Michel Byron, Steve Porcaro or Steve Lukather... anyway, what was expecting for this last effort is released at the best. Everyone find his pleasure listening to these new songs. If you ask me to choose one, it's just impossible cause I like every tracks. The vocals, the music, the lyrics, the arrangements... everything is top notch! They're now on tour and my advice is DON'T MISS IT!!

JD Souther "Tenderness"

Jd

A 2013 inductee into the Songwriters Hall of Fame, J.D. Souther is a legitimate legend in popular music. An architect of the Southern California sound and a huge influence on modern songwriting, J.D. Souther has written or co-written many of the Eagles hits including "Heartache Tonight," "Victim of Love," "New Kid in Town," "Best of my Love," Don Henley's "The Heart of the Matter," as well as the Eagles' 2007 hit, "How Long." Linda Ronstadt has recorded many of his songs, including "Faithless Love," "Simple Man, Simple Dream," and "Prisoner in Disguise." Souther's hit "You're Only Lonely" reached the top ten and was quickly followed by "Her Town, Too" which J.D. co-wrote with James Taylor. The Dixie Chicks' 1998 hit "I'll Take Care of You," was written by J.D. and featured on their album Wide Open Spaces, which sold over 11 million records.

After a twenty-five year performing hiatus, Souther returned to recording and live performance in 2008, blending his trademark Americana-influenced style with new flavors of jazz and blues. On his new album, Tenderness, J.D. s debut album on Masterworks, he worked with Grammy Award-winning producer Larry Klein who has produced albums for Joni Mitchell, Madeleine Peyroux, Herbie Hancock and Tracy Chapman, to name a few. Tenderness is a late-night masterpiece, haunting and wise and entirely reflective of the persona of this mysteriously brilliant American treasure.

ConFunkShun "More Than Love"

Confun

ConFunkShun is one of the great self-contained funk bands; since their 1976 breakthrough they have scored 18 Top 40 R&B hits, with 8 Top 10 smashes including such classics as Ffun, Chase Me and Electric Lady; lead vocalist Michael Cooper went on to a successful solo career with several Top 10 hits of his own; the band has re-united with Cooper and original second lead vocalist/multi-instrumentalist/songwriter Felton Pilate leading the way, wowing concert-goers across the country.

"More Than Love" culminates the re-emergence of ConFunkShun with a beguiling 13-song set that captures that band at the peak of their powers. Produced by the same team behind Charlie Wilson s recent albums, "More Than Love" retains the classic ConFunkShun sound but with tastefully contemporary production.
