Bobby Kimball, Original Singer of TOTO, Returns With New Album “We’re Not In Kansas Anymore”

Los Angeles – Legendary Bobby Kimball, original singer of TOTO, returns with a very special new studio album “We’re Not In Kansas Anymore”. The highly anticipated new album will be released on Purple Pyramid Records on April 21, 2017.

Says Bobby, “As artists and musicians we live our lives chasing a dream … the dream of expressing ourselves through the songs we create and sing. I surrounded myself with some of the best session players and songwriters in the business, and I feel you can hear and sense that when you listen to the music. To my fans … I hope that I delivered an album that can be part of a songbook for your life, as it is for mine. God Speed.

Kimball's music remains unmistakable - melodious rock with polyphonic arrangements and a great sound, and his distinctive voice is simply inimitable! Reteaming with producer John Zaika, WNIKA features stellar performances by drummer Joel Taylor, keyboardist Derek Sherinian (Dream Theater, Black Country), Mitchel Forman and more!

Says John Zaika, “I produced and co-wrote a project with Bobby Kimball in 1999, 'All I Ever Needed.' We've stayed in touch ever since. When the opportunity to write and produce a second project for this incredible singer and artist came along, I was excited to be involved. I knew it needed to have great songs, sound fresh, and stand out in today's music world. So, as a team, we pushed hard to create a project that crosses over genres without sounding disconnected. I sought out some of the best musicians in the industry, worked with top engineers to help fulfill the experience, and we created a wonderful team with myself, Bobby Kimball and Dave Barnett here at Future Memories Music.”

People vs Larsen has offered an innovative voice in the indie and blues music scenes in New York since 2012 and have established themselves as one of the best live bands in New York City. Emanating from a wide breath of influence centered around the blues, People vs Larsen delivers a musical experience which infuses blues, rock, jazz and indie music, and gives audiences a powerful, soulful and uplifting experience.

Mike & The Mechanics "Let Me Fly"

Mike Rutherford has much to smile about right now, and his upcoming album Let Me Fly distills everything that’s right about Mike + The Mechanics: the songwriting, the life-affirming uplift and the undercurrent of quirk. The album is out April 4 via BMG. Let Me Fly overflows with the sense of joy that has defined the band’s entire existence and, as ever, there’s a host of characters, not all of them upstanding citizens, such as the hapless philanderer of "Don’t Know What Came Over Me," the first single to be taken from the album - now available for download and streaming.

Explains chief Mechanic, Mike Rutherford: “Here’s this guy who’s happily married, loves his lady and everything’s wonderful. Then, one night, he goes AWOL and loses everything by having a one night-stand. It was a moment of madness and he’s beyond remorseful. Was he forgiven? The song just leaves him hanging. And no, it’s not autobiographical!”

Coastland Ride "Distance"

Avenue Of Allies is very pleased to announce the labels first release in 2017: Coastland Ride - Distance.

The Swedish AOR act Coastland Ride and the German record label Avenue Of Allies continue their partnership with the release of the band's third album "Distance". Delivering perfectly arranged catchy Scandinavian AOR with Westcoast influences is still the game of the three gentlemen from Sundsvall, who started Coastland Ride back in 1997, Markus Nordenberg, Anders Rybank and Mikael Bohlin.

"Distance" is a highly enjoyable affair, including the hook laden first single "Winds", featuring a guitar solo by Lars Chriss (Lion's Share). Lead guitar work on most of the other tracks is handled by Sven Larsson (Street Talk, Sapphire Eyes, Lionville). With the new set of strong songs under their belt, the guys are ready to enter the stage again and fly the flag of classy AOR from Sweden.
