In the summer of 2010 Marcel Luntungan, Hans Sligter and Sjoerd van den Broek performed together for the first time during a session in cafe "De Peuk" in Bussum, The Netherlands. These three men being good singers individually and holding a respectable track record as musicians in various bands and projects was already a known fact, but this spontaneous joint action appears to be a classic example of a whole that is greater than the sum of its parts. And so a new band arises; The LSB Experience.

A binding factor and an important musical inspiration for the new band is the American so called “West Coast Sound". Several British acts that are known for using rich harmony vocal arrangements also form a common passion. The LSB Experience setlist now includes songs from: Crosby, Stills & Nash, Jackson Browne, James Taylor, The Eagles, Venice, The Doobie Brothers, Fleetwood Mac and Crowded House, to mention just a few names. Obviously, this cover/tribute repertoire is still expanding as the band is now exploring the possibilities of performing original material as well.

While the original trio formation is more focused on the harmony vocals and acoustic instruments, the LSB Experience also appears with a rhythm section. This 5-piece band, with on drums Peter Deiman and on bass Rob Hendriks, shifts toward the more dynamic, arranged and swinging songs within the repertoire, thus creating an even greater variation in the sound and making the band more versatile.

ROCK MEETS CLASSIC 2012: world stars present rock anthems in symphonic big screen sound.
 After the sold-out arena tour at the beginning of the year, in January 2012 Ian Gillan, Steve Lukather and co. will embark on a European tour with the Bohemian Symphony Orchestra Prague.
Five rock music legends, an orchestra and a band will play the greatest hits in rock history on one evening -
that is ROCK MEETS CLASSIC!

It is now the third time that this unique crossover project will go on tour to perform two and a half hours of pure emotion. This year's line-up reads like a who's who of rock history. Vocal heroes Ian Gillan (Deep Purple), Chris Thompson (Manfred Mann's Earthband), Jimi Jamison (Survivor) and Robin Beck will also be joined by Toto guitar hero Steve Lukather. The rock star legends will be accompanied by the Mat Sinner Band and the Bohemian Symphony Orchestra Prague under the leadership of Bernard Fabuljan.

The premiere will take place on January 5th at the Saturn Arena in Ingolstadt. Tickets for the German dates are already available from the usual presale ticket offices. Anthems such as "Smoke on the Water", "Blinded by the Light" and "Hold the Line" with the original protagonists await the audience, albeit in a completely new sound - ROCK MEETS CLASSIC turns the
greatest hits in rock history into true classics.

There are a few great moments in this life about amazing music. One of these was an acoustic session of the band VENICE (Kip Lennon, Mark Lennon and Pat Lennon) during the afternoon of June 29, 11 in the legendary studio of free format radio dee jay Georges Lang at RTL (rue Bayard, Paris, very closed to the Champs Elysees avenue) for a great acoustic session and an interview of VENICE that you can listen to on RTL tonight November 2, 2011 at midnight - french hour (or live on RTL website) from midnight to 3 am. If you love harmony vocals, guitar playing and great songs: be there or be no where!

This precious afternoon, in Les Nocturnes studio at RTL radiostation, VENICE live in acoustic in Paris was a real blast. Some other members of The Wall live tour (Roger Waters) have been featured on this acoustic session too: Jon Joyce (original background vocalist from PINK FLOYD - THE WALL album), G.E.Smith (guitar player - Bob Dylan, Daryl Hall & John Oates) and Robbie Wyckoff as lead singer (with Roger Waters).

Eagle Rock Entertainment just released The Doobie Brothers "Live at Greek Theater 1982". Filmed at the Greek Theatre in Berkeley, California in 1982, this concert was the last date on the Doobie Brothers’ “Farewell Tour”. It was an emotional night and would be their last gig for 5 years. The band played a set containing all their best loved hits from across their career and were joined by founder member Tom Johnston for the last two tracks, with former members John Hartman (also from the original line-up), Tiran Porter and Michael Hossack coming on stage for the celebratory finale of “Listen To The Music”. The band are in fantastic form and rise to the occasion magnificently, they can rarely have delivered a better performance throughout their distinguished career.
